This is a very peaceful and pretty site and the accommodation is excellent. The local town is within walking distance, and has some good pubs/food. The site is on the edge of the Dartmoor National Park, but is also only 20 minutes from the coast.

Lovely location, amongst the trees and the hot tub was glorious. The lodge itself was extremely well appointed and so cosy. Would certainly visit Indio Lakes again. Mrs H, Bournemouth, Dorset 12 February 2011
Beautiful holiday lodges. Hot tub was amazing and very secluded. Ideal for peace and serenity. Had a fantastic time the lodge was a welcoming, relaxing environment after a busy day of visiting the villages and towns that surround the site. Would return to indio lake without any hesitation. Loved it! Mrs C, Walsall, West Midlands 18 January 2011
Amazing location. When we travelled it was very snowy and so we were worried about the park being closed but this was not a problem. The staff made sure we could still have an enjoyable holiday and even though we weren't able to drive up to our lodge we didn't have to walk a great deal. Overall an amazing place to spend Christmas. Definitely visiting in the summer so we can see the lake when it's not frozen up! Miss G, Littlehampton, West Sussex 01 January 2011
This was a fantastic location and accommodation for a romantic relaxing week away. We were within easy access of all amenities and local attractions yet when in the lodge we felt we were miles away from it all! I would, and we have, recommended this lodge and Hoseasons to our family and friends...we just can't stop talking about it!
Thank you! Mrs H, Fareham, Hampshire 11 November 2010
We had an amazing time at Indio Lakes. I surprised my boyfriend for his 30th birthday, it was the perfect romantic getaway. We haven't stopped talking about it to family and friends since returning home. We can't wait to come again. Miss M, Northampton,, Northants, 25 October 2010
We stayed at The Hide and the lodge had everything that we wanted, we were a little worried at first glance that our hot tub could be seen from the other two close lodges, but that was not the case, The lodge on arrival was spot on, so clean and well presented, we had free-sat so no missing Eastenders lol, and we even had brand new DVDs to choose from which were left in the wrapper. I would recommend this to anyone who wants a nice romantic break away from any distractions! Mr S, Rowley Regis, West Midlands 20 September 2010
Stunning setting - complete peace & quiet and relaxation. Lodge was better than a home away from home and the hot tub was perfect to help you relax after a hard day of sight seeing at the many fantastic venues on your doorstep - an amazing week in all!! Mrs F, LOUGHBOROUGH, Leicestershire 21 June 2010
Very peaceful and relaxing site. Beautiful accommodation that was very clean and luxurious. Mrs M, OLDHAM, Lancs 25 May 2010
We had a lovely week and the accommodation was great - it even included a Christmas tree which was a nice surprise. I would definitely recommend it for a relaxing getaway. Mrs L, BIRMINGHAM, West Midlands 19 December 2009
I would recommend this holiday to anyone who wants a beautiful, relaxing holiday with lots to do nearby. The beach isn't far and Penny Well farm isn't a long drive away so you can visit the mini pigs. The park itself is beautiful with some very friendly wildlife to keep you entertained. The hot tub was excellent and the house itself was immaculately presented and more than comfortable. The people who look after the park were incredibly friendly and helpful and the setting was very peaceful. Miss N, RUGBY 09 July 2009
The lodge that we stayed in was in a lovely location next to the lake and backing onto the woodland. The staff were very friendly and gave us a lovely welcome, as did the wildlife!!! We were greeted every morning at the front door by the two of the parks ducks and a goose who wanted their breakfast from us! The location was also lovely with only a short drive into Bovey Tracey, I would definitely recommend the Indian restaurant "Spice Bazaar" which served delicious food. Perfect scenery and very romantic - we loved every minute of our holiday. A perfect holiday for couples and anyone wanting to relax and unwind. Miss P, GRAVESEND, Kent 29 June 2009
Beautiful location, and gorgeous lodges...perfect relaxing break away! Mr L, Plymouth, Devon 01 December 2008
